1978
Pat Davie Limited (PDL) was founded in Hong Kong as a small interior design practice. Committed to professional service and workmanship, PDL has gradually developed into a reputable company among the industry and clients.
1984
Shui On acquired the majority interest of Pat Davie Limited and become its major shareholder. With access to Shui On’s construction expertise, the company has gradually expanded the business to building innovation, addition and alteration, and other large scale fitting up projects.
1986
P.D. (Contractors) Ltd was established as a registered building contractor in response to client needs, covering structural alterations in their vision for interior enlargement or repurposing. The company works with qualified engineers to oversee the projects, in order to provide exciting new interior spaces and enhancing asset values.
2005
Pat Davie (Macau) Ltd was set-up to provide local fit-out expertise for the rapid expansion of the hospitality industry since 2000s. The company now undertakes repurposing and refurbishment projects in this sector and also has a healthy workbook in hotel and resorts, casinos, shopping malls, retail outlets and office premises.
2019
Pat Davie (Zhuhai) Ltd was established to broaden PDL’s presence in the Greater Bay Area. A BIM (Building Information Modelling) team was established to play a pivotal role in facilitating the increasing use of BIM technology at our interior fit-out projects.
Our Service
We serve as Main Contractor, or a Specialist Sub-Contractor to accommodate clients’ requirements. Our services include:
Planning
Design development and technical documentation for the exterior, interior, building services and finishes. Development and agreement of budgets and expenditure limits based upon specific requirements.
Preparation
Preparation and development of Master Works Programmes and schedules. Liaison with Client/ Consultant at all stages of the project.
Management
Regular progress reporting to Client/Consultant. Continuous tracking the agreed programmes with provision of advice concerning necessary measures to achieve key target dates and objectives.
Quality Control
Constant supervision of the works to ensure maximum efficiency and quality control. Placement of procurement orders and sequential arrangement of all necessary materials, equipment and resources.
Approval
Preparation of necessary drawings and submission for approval. Provide estimates for Provisional items. Applications and liaison with Statutory Authorities and parties involved in the project.
Maintenance
Scheduling and monitoring of post contract, remedial and maintenance works.
